A Few Things Worth Mentioning

I’d like to share a few guiding principles about the content I post on my website. Over the past three years, I’ve written extensively, far more than I’ve actually published. In fact, I estimate that about 95% of my work remains unpublished, with only a small fraction, roughly 5%, appearing on various platforms.

When it comes to publishing, I follow a deliberate and thoughtful process. I never post an article immediately after writing it. Instead, every piece undergoes awaiting periodof at least a month. This allows ample time for careful review to ensureaccuracy, truthfulness, andethical soundness. I also strive to discern whether the content aligns withGod’s divine providenceand reflects a faithful,well-orderedapproach to the subject.

If you notice me posting anopinion articleabout an event that happened weeks or even months ago, it’s not because I’m “late to the party.” It’s a result of this intentional process. My goal is to share content in good faith, after thorough thought anddiscernment, so that it is offered with care and integrity.

Writing Process

How I “Write”: My Process and Formatting Choices

This post outlines my contentcreation process. I combine creative thinking with structured organization to produce clear, readable content. Below, I explain the steps I take to write and format my posts.

Step 1: Turning Voice Notes into Text

Everything starts withvoice notesoraudio clips. Instead of staring at a blank screen, I talk out my ideas. It’s a more natural way for me to think and capture my thoughts. Then, I usespeech-to-texttechnology to turn those recordings into a rough draft.

This step keeps things simple and lets me focus on getting my ideas out without worrying about how they’ll look on the page. It’s messy at first, but that’s what editing is for.

Step 2: Cleaning It Up

Once I’ve got my rough draft, I start refining it. Here’s how I make it shine:

  • Fixing Grammar and Punctuation: Tools likeQuillbothelp me catch mistakes and smooth out the writing.
  • Making It Flow: I spend time reorganizing ideas so the piece feels logical and easy to follow.
  • Checking for Originality: I always run aplagiarism checkto make sure the content is fresh and truly my own.

This part of the process can take some time, but it’s worth it to deliver something polished and authentic.

Step 3: SEO… Because It’s the World We Live In

I’ll admit it: I prefer old-school writing, just a title and clean, flowing paragraphs. But in today’s online world,SEOis a must if you want your content to be found. So I will try my best to stick to this.

To make my posts easier to discover, I useAItools to add things like:

  • Headingsand Subheadings: These break up the text and make it easier to skim.
  • Keywords: I sprinkle these in naturally to boost search rankings.
  • Metadata: This helps search engines understand what the post is about.

Even though SEO isn’t my favorite part of the process, it’s important for reaching a wider audience, and I want my content to connect with as many people as possible.

Step 4: Citing My Sources

I’m all about giving credit where it’s due. At the same time, I want the text to be easy to read without too many interruptions. Here’s how I handle citations:

  • Hyperlinks: I link directly to sources within the text so you can check them out without breaking your flow.
  • Source Lists: At the end of each post, I include a fullsource listand suggestions forfurther reading.
  • Endnotes Instead of Footnotes: Footnotes can be distracting, so I preferendnotesfor a cleaner look.

This way, you get all the context and resources you need without feeling like the text is overloaded with extras.

Why Transparency Matters

I want you to know exactly how my content comes together. By sharing my process and tools, I hope to give you a clear picture of what goes on behind the scenes. Whether you’re here to learn, explore ideas, or just enjoy the content, I hope this breakdown helps you connect with the work on a deeper level.
