FAQ

Why did you choose a logo with the serpent and dove?

I chose a logo with the serpent and the dove because it ties back to my favorite Bible verse, Matthew 10:16: “Be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves.” I just think there’s so much to unpack here, and it opens the door for all kinds of conversations and interpretations.

When you think about the serpent, starting with the Garden of Eden, and how it’s been portrayed throughout history and across different cultures, it’s fascinating to see how its symbolism has evolved. Then you add the dove, with its connotations of peace and innocence, and you get this rich, dynamic balance that feels so relevant today.

For me, this imagery is a reminder of how we need to approach the world—aware of what’s going on, wise enough to navigate it, but still holding on to a sense of innocence and integrity. That’s why I chose the serpent and the dove for my logo. It’s a symbol with layers of meaning that fit perfectly with how I want to think about and engage with the world.
